Providing support for intestinal health through valuable dietary fiber.
sanEntero PREB supports intestinal health through various dietary fibers:
Many people generally consume too little fiber through their diet. Fibers are an important nutritional source for our intestinal bacteria. So-called prebiotics are fibers that serve as food for healthy intestinal bacteria and thus promote their growth and activity. The difference to probiotics is that the term probiotics covers the living microorganisms themselves.
The dietary fiber resistant starch type 3 contained in sanEntero PREB cannot be broken down by our digestive enzymes and reaches the large intestine unchanged. There it is broken down into smaller components by some bacteria. The short-chain fatty acids - including butyric acid - are particularly important in this process. The metabolism of the intestinal mucosa and the growth of blood vessels in the intestinal wall are dependent on the butyric acid produced by the bacteria. The dietary fiber acacia fiber also serves as food for the beneficial intestinal bacteria.
In addition, sanEntero PREB contains the valuable dextrorotatory lactic acid. The term dextrorotatory refers to the chemical properties of lactic acid. A distinction is made between levorotatory and dextrorotatory lactic acid. Dextrorotatory lactic acid is also known as physiological lactic acid because, unlike levorotatory lactic acid, it can be used directly by the body without conversion. Dextrorotatory lactic acid supports a slightly acidic intestinal environment.
